The creature tries to fly... I see that there is something wrong with his, or her, wings.
Is it a 'he', or a 'she'? You know what, I'll just call him, or her, Jessy.
This way my ignorance will be camouflaged. The bug, Jessy that is, doesn't succeed in take-off.
Jessy can't fly anymore... How terrible! I think. I consider to kill it.. I mean Jessy, with the flyswatter that's always in the lower drawer of the kitchen-cupboard. I hesitate. How could I kill an animal that has a name? Jessy didn't do anything wrong. I only want to help Jessy... but is death an answer? I felt sorry for Jessy. Can a ladybug that can't fly, be happy anyway? Wait a minute... cán a ladybug be happy? I am clueless.
